Special Events
Disciple Now
Students have the opportunit to participate in a student conference with other students from the Mid-South. During the conference, students are taught by powerful speakers and are led in singing by worship bands. In addition to the conference, our students participate in our very own Disciple Now. Groups of students are welcomed into the homes of many of our church families to spend the night, have fun, and participate in small group discussions of the topics presented by the speaker. They attend the Conference on Friday night, Saturday morning and afternoon and then have a DNOW Rally on Sunday morning to cap off the weekend.
Mission Projects
High school students are given the opportunity to serve on mission teams both within the U.S. and worldwide. Also have our Jerusalem Project trip. We sleep in the Bellevue gym and then during the day go out to various parts of Memphis and server others. We come back together at night have worship together and a message and hear about what happened during the day.
Senior Only Activities
As our students complete their senior year there are several events designed to celebrate their graduation. SENIOR SUNDAY is an annual event in May when the senior students are recognized in the Worship Service, treated to a reception with Pastor Steve and Donna. Each student has their picture made with the Pastor. SENIOR GIRLS have a special time with Donna Gaines when she honors them with a Tea at her home. The girls enjoy dressing up and hearing a special word from their Pastor’s wife
Summer Camp
Join us this summer at Panama City Beach. 9th-12th grade students will enjoy great worship and small group time as well as tons of fun. You've got the beach to enjoy, pool, volleyball, and so much more! We have worship, a message, small groups, recreation, and lots of free time!
Student Leadership University
Students desiring to be challenged with leadership principles will want to take part in Student Leadership University. This is an in-depth look at how to be a leader at exciting places such as Orlando, FL (SLU 101), Washington D.C. (SLU 201), Paris, London, Normandy (SLU 301), and The Mediterranean (SLU 401). Students are eligible to attend starting in 9th grade.
