What is the Girls Council?

A leadership team of 11th -12th grade girls that serve in various areas of Bellevue Student Ministry and the community. The team meets each semester on a weekly basis for leadership training and planning of girls' events.

How do I become a member of Girls Council?

Upcoming 11th and 12th grade girls may receive an application at the informational meeting held in August 21 in the Upper Room at 5:00. After this date, applications can be picked up in the Student Ministry Office or the ER. Once your application has been reviewed and references checked, you will receive notification of membership.

What are ways the Girls Council serves?

They plan and lead events such as the "Girls Lock In" and "Girls Night Out." They also caroled at the nursing home at Christmas, and cheered in the Special Olympics basketball tournament. They also have a "Little Sister," a 7th grade girl, that they help to welcome and meet new friends as they enter into Student Ministry.
