Since you can tell from the headline above that my name is Michael Pritchard, there is no reason to start off by telling you that, so we'll just move on. Whenever new people meet, three questions inevitably get asked: 1) Are you married? 2) What do you do? 3) Do you like Star Trek?
Since we're new acquaintances, I'll try and answer these questions for you: 1) Yep! I'm married to my wonderful wife, Christy. We enjoy serving in the student ministry together every week. She teaches an 11th grade Bible Fellowship class and is one of the leaders for the girls' ministry Bible study. She's awesome, you need to meet her. 2) I'm one of the illustrious student ministry interns. Once I have two weeks in a row that are the same, I'll let you know what I typically do. I'm also getting my Master of Christian Studies from Union University right now. 3) I'm so glad you asked! I was a fan of Star Trek before Star Trek became cool again (if it was ever cool in the first place). When I was a kid, I even had my mom make a birthday cake that looked like Spock's face. Oh yeah, good times...
