David Houpt
I've been part of the Bellevue family since 2001, first as a college student then on staff with the church's Communications Department. I joined the Student Ministry staff in August of 2004, and "worked" as an intern for both Phil Newberry and Jason Pyron before moving into my current role as the Assistant, Middle School. (I have no idea what that means, but it sounds important.) I got my learnin' at the University of Memphis ("Go Tigers."), and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.
Most of what I do involves overseeing our 6th Grade Ministry. I also get to do a lot of graphic design and help with Middle School camps and missions projects, so I don’t get bored very often. I am into hanging with my beautiful wife, Ashley, traveling to cool places, photography, hiking, running, and mountain biking. But mostly Ashley. :)
